CAFES & RESTAURANTS: From the 2 hatted restaurant Pipit to delectable sushi at Izakya Potts and Konoha Café, Thai delights at The Betal, seafood at Okky, and enticing brunches and great coffee at Cornerstop Café and Black drop café, Pottsville offers a diverse culinary experience. There is the Pottsville Sports Club and Pottsville Tavern for easy evening meals, as well as happy hour with delicious food at Baker and Farmer. On a Wednesday we are lucky to have The Lotus Van at St Marks Church in the afternoon for fabulous outdoor dining. In terms of pizza you cant go wrong with Garden Pizza Pottsville or Potty Mouth Pizza.

RECREATION: There is an array of community groups such as Pottsville Beach Football Club, Pottsville Cricket Club, Black Rocks Board Riders, and BOK School Of Dance. Local businesses like Loft Pilates and The Village Gym provide further health and fitness opportunities. Pottsville even has a nine-hole golf course – Pottsville Golf Course.

COMMUNITY: We are lucky to have fortnightly Sunday markets located Philip Street Reserve. The markets showcase an array of local produce and food vans. There is an active Community Hall hosting various groups and social events. The Pottsville Men’s Shed is a great social group for people wanting to gather and create. NATURE: Mooball Creek gracefully winds through the heart of Pottsville, offering a tranquil playground for residents. Cudgera Creek meanders from Hastings Point to the beginning of the Koala Beach Estate. The town hugs the coastline and is home to Pottsville Beach and Black Rocks Beach, exceptional for surfing and fishing.

The Pottsville Environmental Park offers several easy, flat walking trails which is a fun experience for all amongst the surrounding forest.

FAMILY FRIENDLY: St Ambrose Play Park leads via a beach path to Mooball Creek. There are showers, BBQ facilities and toilets. There are several children’s play parks dotted throughout the town for safe play amongst the various streets.

The Tweed Shire Mobile library visits Pottsville every Friday from 9:45 am – 3:30 pm. There are also Toddler Music, Art & Play groups at the Pottsville Community Centre each week, a great environment for children and adults to socialise and play.
